Cycle Sounds Speakers & Amp on 2014 or Newer Harley Davidson Touring
Summary
Overall, the Cycle Sounds system ads a ton of quality sound and is a great addition to the stock Harley Boom!™ Box Infotainment system. Once you adjust and dial the amp in you will be impressed. The price point is better than the competing Harley-Davidson Boom!™ Audio Stage 2 amp & speakers and you don't need to “re-program” or “flash” the Boom Box at a Harley dealership after install like with the Boom Audio system. However, there is more to installing this system and some minor splicing is necessary. With our official Cycle Sounds Speaker & Amp Install Video it will be a breeze!

A Video by Biker for Bikers
In this tutorial video we install a Cycle Sounds Amp & Speaker Kit on a Harley Davidson touring motorcycle. This #1 rated tutorial video will work for 2014 & newer Harley Davidson touring models with a batwing fairing and equipped with a Boom!™ Box Infotainment System. We submit the video would also be very beneficial if installing the system on a 2014 or newer Road Glide or similar model with a shark nose fairing, but not exact of course.
In this particular video we do the install on a Harley Ultra with additional rear passenger speakers. We have you covered whether just installing the amp and front speakers or adding additional rear speakers to the set up. This video covers every aspect of installation & in great detail.
Note: With a Cycle Sounds amp & speaker install there is no need to take your Harley to a dealership for a Dealer Digital Technician software update or “flash” of your Boom!™ Box Infotainment System. It is required with other amp & speaker systems and the dealership will charge you to do so. Instead, the Cycle Sounds system uses what they call a “Magic Box” or “Signal Defuser” to get the appropriate signals going into the amp.
Save your money and do this project yourself right in your garage or on your patio right on the kickstand. No fancy motorcycle lifts, jacks or tools needed.
The video is very thorough and we show you different options for routing and managing wires. We explain what each component actually does and armed with this knowledge the project is a breeze.
As usual, the paper instructions provided by Cycle Sounds with the amp and speaker kit are less than useful or helpful. That is where this video comes in by breaking it down and showing you exactly how to do each step and why. You will watch in high definition and at the best possible angles. It is as if you are right there with us and can reach out and turn a wrench! This is a video by bikers for bikers. You simply won't find a better Cycle Sounds amp and speaker kit install tutorial video out there.
We suggest mounting your cell phone or music playing device to your handlebars or control cluster using a Biker Gripper. You will certainly want your MP3 player mounted so you can get the most out of your new Cycle Sounds system.

Ryan – looks like another awesome video for sure. Can you maybe do a comparison and contrast to the Hog Tunes set up? Which sounds better, which is easier to install, etc? From the looks of the preview there is some wire cutting involved. I seem to recall from the Hog Tunes setup it was pretty much plug and play…. this is a winter project I’d like to do and I respect your opinion. Thanks… Paul
The Cycle Sounds is pretty awesome and I recommend it. With our install video it will make perfect sense. It rocks pretty good! It is much plug and play, but there are just a few quick connects you will have to install. No big deal and not to crazy bro.
