  1. Thanks for the video’s on the front and rear tire removal and replacement. I too have a 2011 Street Glide and I am contemplating going with newer chrome wheels and wanted to do it myself. The only thing I am hesitant about is the fork lowering, using a progressive front end lowering kit. I also will have to adjust the front fender, so your video was right in line with that. Maybe you could make a video of how to dig into the fairing and do a front lowering kit? They say it is simple and straight forward, but I’m the kinda guy who likes to see it done first, rather than make a ton of mistakes trying to figure it out for the first time.
Again, thanks for taking time for the video, and I will keep your site bookmarked. Please accept my small donation to your efforts, and be safe!

    1. Thanks Dan so much for your feedback and donation!! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it……. It’s riders like you that keep me going on this content. We are still making videos and I will try to get to your video request. Thanks for bookmarking the website. Don’t forget to check out all the podcasts too!! Ride safe!

  2. I see you were blockiing up the rear tire with boards, I think a better way is to use a car jack. the hydralics. type and jack the tire up versus lifting and blocking etc .. Just myu opinion . might make it easier for you

  3. Enjoyed the video’s, great job and thank you. One comment on your oil change video. Had a savvy bike tuner turn me on to this. Use 3 1/2 quarts instead of the full 4 quarts of oil for the engine oil. Have you noticed engine oil on the bottom side of your oil filter? This happens because of oil overflow in the motor. It happens because the 20/50 oil is so thin. If you fill with 3 1/2 quarts you won’t get the overspill into your filter and still have plenty of oil to lubricate the engine. Again, thanks for what you are doing!!

    1. I have not had that problem at all, but good tip for people that are. Thanks for posting!!

  4. Hi, brother. Found you on youTube. I’m eddievegas1 on there. Gota love Ytube!
Funny I got a 2011 Street Glide (Green and Black) Love it. Trading it in end of OCT. Getting same bike and color as you just got. As with you was just in Orange County on vacation, rented a 2013 Road Glide. It was ok, but Street Glide is it. Question: with your new slip on, can you still hear the stereo Great? You lose some Vol because of louder pipes? See All my life, I had loud Harley’s, but the 2011 is my 1st radio bike, I can never go back without tunes. I’m sure same for you. Thanks.. Ed

    1. Thanks for the comment brother! I assume your referring to my video and blog review on the Vance and Hines Dresser Twin Slash Rounds at http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/TwinSlashRounds. I love my tunes too! I have no problems hearing my Harley Street Glide Stereo, even running at freeway speeds. I don’t even have to turn my stereo all the way up, so no worries. Ride Safe and enjoy your new bike. You’re going to love it!!

  5. All your procedures are very helpful, but NOTE for the softail owners: The drain plugs are in different locations. The transmission drain plug is between the two shocks under the center of the bike. The oil drain plug is where the transmission drain plug is shown on this video and the primary fluid drain plug is pretty much in the same area as the bike for this video. This is for 2013 softails and some years before. Double check. You don’t want to pull the wrong plug!

    1. Thanks for the contact Javier and thanks for sharing your particular model and where things are located. I know the rest of the Law Abiding Biker Community appreciates it. Of course, the different years and models will have variations, so if everyone shares it would be awesome!
