These are pictures of my very humble beginnings into the world of podcasting and media. I recorded LAB Podcast episodes 1, 2, & 3 by myself in my daughters closet with very minimal equipment, just to get started with things. I just wanted to get a few episodes out there and test the waters. I only had a condenser microphone and had to use a small space with lots of fabric to cut down on echo. That is why I picked my daughter’s closet. It was very hot and stuffy, but it was the best I could come up with at the time. I then moved to my office with the same humble equipment and tried to put a blanket over me and the computer armoire, but it didn’t work as well. There was still some echo, but it was not quite as stuffy at least. I was blessed by God after only a few prayers to sale something I had been trying to sale for a year. I sold that item quickly and was able to purchase more professional podcasting and media equipment! Of course I moved all that equipment right into my small office, which I called my official studio.
