I tested the Speed and Strength True Grit Moto Shirt on a recent 9 day, 2500 mile trip along the west coast from Washington State to California and back north. I rode in it in temps ranging from 60 deg to 105 degrees Fahrenheit. Even on those hot days, as long as you're moving a bit, you get good airflow and I never took it off. When I made stops for gas and a water break, I just took it off.
This is a very capable, great looking, and protective motorcycle riding shirt. I love the style of it as it doesn't look at all like a typical protective motorcycle riding jacket. Yet, it offers protection from the elements while riding and certainly offers protection if you go down. I enjoyed riding with it and will continue to do so!
The Speed and Strength True Grit Moto Shirt is constructed from a cotton polyester blend with aramid reinforcements at shoulders and elbows. Removable vault chain link CE Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors pair with a removable vault CE Level 1 back protector for superior all around protection. Multiple snap and zipper pockets work hard to keep valuables safe while riding. Reflective trim allows for everyone on the road to see you even if you don't see them. (see video below)
