Fresh off watching Harley-Davidson’s official Chapter 2 launch video in the Law Abiding Biker Store, Lurch and I sat down to break down what was actually revealed with the 2026 Harley-Davidson models. (see video below)
A couple of months ago, we covered Chapter 1, and since then we’ve seen multiple 2026 bikes listed on Harley’s website under covers—names revealed, but not the bikes themselves. Now that Chapter 2 has dropped, there’s a lot more to talk about than you might expect.
Harley put out a highly produced video, and it looked great—but as always, we’re here to cut through the fluff and focus on what matters to you as a consumer, especially if you’re in the market for a 2026 Harley-Davidson.
Let’s dive in.

Touring Lineup Simplified (Finally)
One of the biggest wins for 2026 is lineup clarity.
In 2024, Harley created confusion by rolling out redesigned fairings on some bikes, while Limited models were stuck with the old fairing design. It made shopping—and aftermarket compatibility—a mess.
For 2026:
-
ALL touring bikes now feature the redesigned fairings
-
Both Street Glide Limited and Road Glide Limited are fully updated
-
No more guessing games for consumers—or parts compatibility nightmares for motorcycle stores like ours.
This is a huge improvement.
Street Glide Limited: A True Factory Ultra Replacement
The 2026 Street Glide Limited is exactly what many riders (including me) ended up building themselves in prior years by adding an OEM trunk and lower fairings.
Key Highlights:
-
New redesigned batwing fairing
-
Factory LED lower fairing lights (no more aftermarket add-ons)
-
Grand Tour Pack (newly redesigned trunk)
-
Taller touring windshield
-
Full touring setup right out of the box
The new Grand Tour Pack deserves special mention—it visually matches the new fairing and saddlebags, with sharper edges and a more cohesive design. It also includes integrated lighting, which my OEM add on trunk on my 2024 Street Glide didn’t have.

Chrome vs Black Trim: Finally Treated Equally
Credit where credit is due.
For years, it felt like chrome lovers were being left behind, with better color options locked behind blacked-out trims.
For 2026:
-
Same color options whether you choose chrome or black
-
No penalty for liking traditional chrome
-
A welcome return to balance
Base pricing starts around $32,999, with:
-
Solid color upgrades: +$600 to +$1,200
-
Two-tone paint: +$2,000

Road Glide Limited: Same Formula, Shark Nose Style
Everything we said about the Street Glide Limited applies here—just swap the batwing for the shark nose fairing.
Same trims, same colors, same touring features. And both have the Milwaukee-Eight 117 ci VVT motors.
At this point, it simply comes down to personal preference.
CVO Touring Models: Familiar Motors, Fresh Looks
Motor-wise, no major surprises:
-
Milwaukee-Eight 117 VVT in Limited models
-
Milwaukee-Eight 121 VVT in CVO models
Where things get interesting is styling and trim.
CVO Street Glide Limited
-
Chrome or black trim
-
Colors like Electric Coast Blue and Citrus Heat
-
Fully loaded as expected from a CVO
The Big Surprise: CVO Street Glide ST
This is one of the most exciting reveals—and it almost got glossed over.

If you’re a Road Glide fan, this one delivers.
-
Race-inspired paint reminiscent of the RR model

Performance-focused setup
-
Aggressive styling that screams King of the Baggers
This is one of the best-looking CVOs Harley has produced in years.

Features Include:
-

-

What’s Missing: Road King, Bronx & Entry-Level Bikes
Now for the tough news.
Missing from the 2026 lineup:
-
Road King (likely discontinued)
-
Bronx Streetfighter (still MIA after years of rumors)
-
Sprint / entry-level model (no $6K bike)
Harley has done mid-year releases before—but based on what we’re seeing, these models appear to be gone for now.
Street Glide Ultra: A One-Year Wonder
The Street Glide Ultra appears to be officially gone after a single model year.
That means:
-
Deals are out there right now
-
Dealers are motivated to move remaining 2025 inventory
-
If you want one, now is the time to shop
2026 Enthusiast Collection: Liberty Edition
Harley also announced the 2026 Liberty Edition, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

Trikes Get Major Updates for 2026
Trike riders finally get some love.
Biggest Upgrade:
-
Rear suspension travel increased from 2.3 inches to 5 inches
-
Shocks repositioned forward of the axle
-
Dramatically improved ride quality
The CVO Street Glide Limited Trike is especially impressive—and yes, Citrus Heat looks incredible on it.
The Bike I’m Eyeing for 2026 👀
Drum roll…
I’m strongly leaning toward the 2026 Street Glide Limited:
-
Chrome trim (of course)
-
Two-tone paint
- Milwaukee-Eight 117 VVT motor
-
Possibly the green or Purple Abyss/Vivid Black color option
Hold me to it.
What’s Next: Hands-On Reviews Coming Soon
I’ll be heading to South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida for a Harley-Davidson event I've been invited to in early March.
That means:

Real-world feedback
Make sure you’re subscribed to the YouTube channel and have notifications turned on—2026 is going to be a big year.
Final Thoughts
The 2026 Harley-Davidson models represent a major step forward in lineup clarity, touring refinement, and performance options. There’s good, there’s bad, and there are a few surprises—but overall, this is one of Harley’s strongest releases in years from a consumer standpoint.
