Indian Motorcycle has officially unveiled its 2026 model lineup, and just like Harley-Davidson’s 2026 reveal, this year is what the industry calls a cyclic year — meaning incremental updates, new paint, new accessories, and one bold new model introduction rather than a sweeping overhaul. (see video below)
The headline?
Indian drops a brand-new Scout model — the Sport Scout RT — and it looks downright aggressive and purpose-built.
This article cuts the fluff and gets right to what matters if you’re shopping for a 2026 Indian Motorcycle.

Sporty stance, club-style bars, fairing, bags, Ride Command — this thing blurs the lines between performance cruiser and light sport-tourer.
It’s the most aggressive Scout to date, and we expect this model to hit hard with riders moving toward the fast-cruiser scene.

🎯 Indian’s Strategy: Bring Younger Riders In
We’ve said this many times — both Indian and Harley must win younger riders early.
Right now, the entry point for either brand is around $10,000.
But younger riders are buying:
✅ Naked bikes
✅ Sport bikes
✅ Bikes in the $6K–$8K range
We believe both companies need a 650-level entry bike — and we wouldn’t be surprised if both have something cooking in the background.
🏍️ 2026 Indian Bagger & Touring Lineup

Fresh paint options
-
Graphic updates
-
New accessories rolling in
If you want full deep-dive rides on the current PowerPlus platform, Indian flew me to Las Vegas earlier this year to review the lineup — and we delivered:

🎤 Our Take
The 2026 Indian lineup is designed to strengthen the lineup, not change direction. The Sport Scout RT is the star — and it hits a strong middle-ground: sporty, practical, aggressive, and premium.
We love seeing the competition between Harley and Indian. Competition benefits you, the rider.
If you're in the market for a new V-Twin cruiser or light-touring bike…
The Sport Scout RT deserves a look.
