This review covers so much.
Great review of all aspects of this helmet, riders expected performance in the city, on the road, usability, including its flaws as far as a biker is concerned.
Thanks for the review.
One question though, will it pair with other Bluetooth radio systems or is it specific for Harley Boom?
Thanks for another great review! I’ve been a subscriber to your Email and YouTube channel for over a year now and have passed your info on to many other riders.
Excellent review, sounds like an option to the wired ICM headsets I bought from LAB if I only wanted to listen to my music and pair it to my iPhone.
Thanks go to Ryan and all the guys at LAB who continue to put out great quality and informative videos for the biking community!
Ryan,
Something maybe to consider on the Sena Cavalry helmet is the toughness of the shell. Reason I say this is that I just purchased 2 Gloss black ones and on my first ride I stored my helmet in my saddlebag (2016 Road Glide) on stopping for dinner and on pulling it back out found that the closing hardware somehow literally took a chunk out of the shell about the size of a pencil eraser nearly 1/16″ deep! I frequently store my helmets in my saddle bag and have never seen any damage. So I am a little disappointed in the shell quality at this point. I could see if I dropped it on the ground or forced the cover down like an ape but really not the case. Just an fyi to consider…
Man, that sucks Tim. Must have been on your latch or something. I find my Cavalry to be as tough as any of my many other half helmets. Thanks for sharing your information.
Another great review with a few others I have to watch and catch up on great work Ryan and the team

Scott:
Check out this video we made on operating the Sena Calvary helmet: https://www.lawabidingbiker.com/use-sena-cavalry-helmet/
You’ll need a Sena Freewire plugged into a 7 pin din connector to pair directly to the boom box.

Thanks. We have about 9 months when its too cold and snowy to ride. The podcasts and videos help with my addiction.
Herb,
You’re most welcome brother. Glad we can help you with that parked motorcycle syndrome!
Take Care,
