BLOG-This is a reliable and unbiased update on the fatal shooting that occurred on June 26, 2014 around 8:00 PM outside Nippers Bar Grille in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has identified the deceased as 40-year-old Zachariah Tipton.

I purchased the Harley Hammock Heated Touring Seat for my 2014 Street Glide Special (SGS). However, you can get the Harley Hammock seat for any Harley touring model. Oscar, the Secretary of the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club has a 2013 Harley Ultra Classic and had this seat before me. One day after a long ride and really thinking that I needed to change my stock Harley seat out I sat on his. It was love at first sit. We ride hard and far here at Law Abiding Biker Podcast & Media and within the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.

I must say that I was surprised that I needed a new touring seat for my Harley Street Glide Special. Prior to my 2014 Street Glide Special I had a 2011 Harley Street Glide. I rode that bike just as far and just as hard and was always fine with the stock seat. Well, either Harley Davidson cheated on the seat on my 2014 Street Glide Special or I am just getting much older. Maybe both, but all I can say is my ass was getting sore with that stock seat.

After that episode aired I was contacted by a high ranking official of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club (IOMC) and that speaks volumes for the Iron Order Motorcycle Club. The official was appreciative of our fair and balanced coverage of the shooting incident. This high ranking official is very open to an interview right here on the Law Abiding Biker Podcast. However, he wishes to wait until the true facts of the fatal biker shooting are released to the public. The Iron Order MC does not wish to interfere with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department's or the State Attorney's Office ongoing investigation. As a President of a motorcycle club myself, I must say that I would likely make the same decision. It is stated by the IOMC official that they are in fact a “law abiding biker” motorcycle club. Over the years that has certainly been my perception of the IOMC based on my personal contact with members.

The Iron Order MC does have a very open website with pictures of members and exactly what they stand for. They are not secretive at all. Of course, that is completely unlike outlaw motorcycle gang websites that contain very little or no information. OMG's obviously have much to hide, so they can't be open like law abiding biker clubs on their websites.

PODCAST-We start out by diving into the reported fatal shooting that occurred on June 26, 2014 around 8:00 PM outside Nippers Bar Grille in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has identified the deceased as 40-year-old Zachariah Tipton.

There is very little preliminary information at this point & it is being investigated thoroughly. Unlike other less than credible motorcycle related sources that have reported on the matter, we here at Law Abiding Biker Podcast & Media hold ourselves to a higher standard. We are different and try to be as fair and balanced as we possibly can. Unlike other sources, we are not taking sides when there is very little information to do so at this point. It would be plain ignorance to do so. Regardless of what motorcycle club the deceased and shooter may have been involved with, we will wait and follow up on this story as real information comes forth.

Harley-Davidson-Clutch-Inspection-Cover-Primary This is a complete and thorough tutorial video on adjusting the clutch internally on your Harley Davidson motorcycle with a cable operated clutch. This is not for Harley models with a hydraulic operated clutch.

Why waste your money by having to take you Harley to the dealer for such an easy project? We guarantee you will be able to do this yourself after watching this video.

We take off the clutch inspection cover and expose the clutch to do this. An internal clutch adjustment can be done whenever you like. If it is difficult at times to find gears when shifting, if your bike is shifting a bit rough, or if the clutch won't start engaging until you have let the clutch lever out all the way then go ahead and adjust it. Refer to your owner's manual for specific adjustment intervals.

Once you adjust the clutch internally you can then make fine adjustments on the clutch lever to make it feel how you want. There is also a free video on this page for that adjustment.

PODCAST-Get ready for this episode as we dive right into the very heated topic of “motorcycle only checkpoints” (MOC's). We break it down for the law abiding biker community and whether or not this really affects you as a motorcycle rider. Should this be something of great or little concern and is it going to take place in you area? There is a lot of incorrect information on this issue and we get to the bottom of things here on the Law Abiding Biker Podcast. We bring it to you from a balanced perspective with nothing to gain or lose on the matter, unlike many others reporting on it. This is quite a discussion and you just need to listen in to get the whole scoop.

The American Motorcycle Association has been at the forefront of the battle against motorcycle only checkpoints. Although they make some good arguments, they also say some things that I don't necessarily agree with. They say things like:

“We hope to see laws enacted to end the discriminatory and harmful law enforcement practice of targeting motorcyclists for stops that do nothing to improve the safety of our roads.”

I dissent and believe the AMA is uneducated by blaming motorcycle only checkpoints on “law enforcement”. If the American Motorcycle Association did proper homework they would understand that these sorts of programs are developed well outside law enforcement agencies power and are trickled down to them.
