Video-Many of you Bikaholics out there wear traditional leather chaps to protect your legs from the elements and to give you some limited protection if you were to go down. There is nothing wrong with chaps if that's how you choose to roll. I just don't like the inconvenience of taking them on and off, the bulkiness, and weight.
I am a rather progressive biker when it comes to equipment and I'm always looking for better things. Especially, things that have style to them and can protect me better than old school traditional motorcycle cruiser gear.
There are an array of companies now making protective riding jeans. They vary in the protective materials they use and in price. These jeans offer protection from the elements and offer so much more protection than chaps if you were to go down on your motorcycle.
In this video, I am focusing on the Drayko Drift Riding Jeans. The Drift from Drayko are low-rise, relaxed fit riding jeans made with Military+ Grade DuPont™ Kevlar® and DSM Dyneema®, The World's Strongest Fiber. Drayko Drift jeans have Kevlar panels in key areas such as the knees, hips, and seat area that need protection if you go down. In contrast, jeans such as Rokker Red Selvage Jeans, have a protective layer of 100% Schoeller-Dynatec running the entire inside of the jeans, which of course greatly increases the price. The Rokker Red Selvage jeans full interior protective panels did keep my legs warmer than the Drayko Drift jeans limited lining (panels) during cold weather riding.
The Rokker Red Selvage jeans full interior protective panels did keep my legs warmer than the Drayko Drift jeans limited lining (panels) during cold weather riding. Both jeans were about the same when riding in hot weather and they do breath a bit. They are hotter than regular jeans of course but totally bearable.
The Drayko lining features a world-leading combination of Kevlar and Dyneema, and is soft, breathable, flexible, non-allergenic and vastly superior to basic woven or knitted Kevlar alternatives. Drayko's revolutionary lining takes advantage of Dyneema's amazing strength to weight ratio to deliver unrivaled safety and comfort.

metal core with wire wrapped around it generates electricity. And there you have it!
In a motorcycle, the stator flywheel set up creates electricity and sends it to a separate regulator/rectifier. In a car, the rectifier/regulator is built into the alternator.
to dissipate the heat. If the regulator did not monitor the voltage to your battery it would destroy it.

We are installing 12″ Westcoast MX T-bars on a 2016 Harley Dyna Low Rider S. We have the bike on the lift in the Law Abiding Biker™ Garage. Lurch and I broke the Harley down this weekend and filmed it as usual.
Podcast-In this episode Chewy, Lurch, and I discuss the new CHIP's movie scheduled to release in theaters March of 2017. We break it down on what we've learned and give you some insight into whether you should go watch it. CHIP's was a classic TV show and I loved watching it as a young boy. The show ran 6 seasons, from 1977-1983.

Podcast-In this podcast episode we go into detail about the recent Polaris announcement that it will no longer manufacture Victory Motorcycles, effective immediately. The company will help dealerships in liquidating the current stock and will provide parts for its models for 10 years along with service and warranty coverage.
Video-In this completely free video, we give you a before & after sound comparison between the restricted stock Harley exhaust and the Vance & Hines Shortshots Staggered pipes. You'll want to wear headphones to get a true sense of the sound difference. We put the Shortshots on a 2016 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider S (CVO). The sound comparison will be similar for many different years and models of Harley.
