Law Abiding Biker Media Studio & Shop-Being Erected!-VLOG

We are super excited that the new Law Abiding Biker Media Studio & Shop continues to be built and the walls have been erected. We have been working hard for over 4 years now helping the law abiding biker community worldwide with the videos on our YouTube channel, our weekly podcast, and our website articles. With the awesome support of the community, we are trying to take things to the next level to better serve the biker community. We must expand to fulfill our future visions.

Thanks to everyone who has helped support this Campaign. Your support humbles me every day.  We are still well behind our overall financial goal and are continuing to try and get closer to that goal. What does this mean? Well, no worries, it just means that we may get the shop/studio enclosed and then have to stall a bit and save more to get everything done inside that's necessary and envisioned.  We will eventually get it all done! We haven't given up in the four years since starting this thing and we're not going to now!! God Bless each one of you that has taken action.

We are super excited as we finally broke ground and are on our way to building the new Law Abiding Biker Media Studio & Shop, so we can help even more bikers. We are still well below our fundraising goal but are so thankful to each one of you that have already donated. 

You might ask……what if you don't meet your goal? Well, we'd just have to get most of the shop/studio erected and then stall and try and save more money. I'll try and pull overtime shifts at the day LEO job, which will force me to cut back a bit on releasing biker content. I'll do what I have to do….I will somehow get it done in time. I have fought 4 years now tirelessly and relentlessly to help as many bikers as I can worldwide and I'm not giving up now. If we meet our fundraising goal then things will be seamless, there will be no stalling on construction, and the biker content releases will stay as usual!

Video-Police Motorcycle Officer-New Cone Pattern & Training-The Rythmulator-Designed by Police Motor Officer Ryan Urlacher

This is a brand new cone pattern drill I designed for an upcoming Police Motorcycle Officer Training Course. I have designed it from scratch and I am calling it “The Rythmulator”.

I spent quite a bit of time testing and measuring things out. I tested it all out on my Police Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. At the end of the video, I walk you through the course and give you the exact measurements and how to set it up.

This is an advanced Police motorcycle cone pattern and you should be a very experienced and a skilled rider before trying this. This is not a pattern for the majority of motorcyclists out there.

The goal of this pattern is to really get riders into a rhythm. Once riders discover the proper turn points and get into a rhythm, it will feel awesome and will look great. If a rider does not hit the proper points and is forcing the bike it will be very difficult. It's all about full bar locks, head and eye placement, quick transitions, and quickly coming in and out of the clutch gray area in this drill.

Harley Davidson and Harman Kardon just released Boom!™ Box software update version 1.21.3.1 on September 19, 2017. This comes after software update versions 1.21.2.1 that was released on August 7 2017.  We have received many inquiries from bikers asking if they should update to this latest version. It is always a good idea to wait and see if an update fixes more than it breaks and let me have some time to test things.

Note: This particular update if for the Boom Box 4.3 Standard, 6.5T Premium, and the CVO 6.5GT systems. I give the go-ahead to update to this new Boom Box software update version, 1.21.3.1.

I installed and tested this update for you. As usual, don't expect any miracles and that suddenly all things will be fixed for ever user. They still have a long way to go to get rid of all the problems that persist with the Harley Boom!™ Box Infotainment System. We are all skeptical that they'll ever get the Boom Box working perfectly at this point.

FAQ:

Question: If I get behind on updating my Boom Box software, will I have to go back and install each past update I missed?

Answer: No, you do not have to update incrementally. If you get behind, just grab the latest software update here and install it. It will update everything you need including past updates. There is no access to the older updates from the Harley website anyway.

Question: If I update my Boom Box to the newest software version and don't like it or it brakes things, am I stuck with it?

Answer: No, as long as you have been saving each Boom Box update file somewhere you're fine. You can go to a past software update file and install that over the new update version (downgrade). Keep all software versions and updates as Harley does not post or give access to older versions.

Law Abiding Biker Shop & Studio? Is it Possible? VLOG

I have been saving money and thinking about building a shop for the past 13 years. I have a large gravel/parking area that has just been sitting there waiting for a shop. Now would be a great time for a shop as we are outgrowing the regular Law Abiding Biker garage. Sure, it still works, but it is very cramped to get all the motorcycles, bodies, and film gear in there to shoot tutorial videos.

My wife hasn't been able to park in the garage for years now due to us using it and taking it over. Yes, she's been very patient. Honestly, I have no idea at this point whether it's even possible financially. I'm dreaming and figured I'd start a Vlog series in case it happens.

Plus, you can help me along the way as I am certainly an amateur at this sort of thing. To start I'm learning where my easements sit and trying to find property lines etc. Then I can measure and determine some sort of a size for the shop. Once I get all that I can turn it over to a designer to draw out. Last, I can give it to a few contractors to have them bid it out.

Of course, the cost will be a huge determining factor. At this point, after many learning lessons, I figured out about what I might want to have built and turned it over to the designer. I guess I will see what they come back with. Who knows, maybe a new shop is a possibility.

Video-How to Freshen a Stinky Motorcycle Helmet Quickly!!

My Police Motorcycle Helmet liner gets very stinky from working daily in 100+ degree temperatures! There's no way not to sweat heavily. The only way I can combat the helmet stink is to routinely spray Bike Brite Helmet Refreshner on the liner. It is a cleaner and deodorizer for helmet liners. Helmet Liner Refreshner cleans, freshens and deodorizes all foam helmet liners. Just spray and wipe dry. I actually just spray it in the liner and let it soak in on its own. I then let it air dry.

I do take the helmet liner our often and run it through the washing machine for a deeper cleaning. Helmet Refreshner helps me get through the week.

I clean the exterior of my helmet and the inside and outside of the shield with Bugslide waterless motorcycle cleaner. I also clean my leather Police motorcycle boots with Bugslide for daily maintenance. And best of all is Buglside cleans my entire motorcycle in between those wet washes!!

  • Siri not initiating in some instances with long press of VR (Voice recognition) button
  • VR cancelling Siri initiation despite activation through button press.
  • VR initializes prior to Siri initiation.
  • Global presets from USB device grayed out in display despite USB device plugged in.
  • Global presets are highlighted even after USB device is removed.
  • Scroll down button selects last item in media list in some instances.
  • Squelch pop up not shown properly in all instances after squelch button activation.
  • Map database names in some international regions were not fully displayed.
  • Next turn shown on weather map in some instances.
  • Various bug fixes.
