VIDEO & BLOG-If you have been listening to the Law Abiding Biker Podcast or have viewed any of my Harley Davidson Boom!™ Box Tutorial Videos then you know that overall I am a huge fan of the new integrated infotainment system that Harley Davidson Project Rushmore came out with. I have been labeled a Boom Box expert and continue to make the very popular tutorial videos as things are changed and updated. I have taught many thousands to use the Harley Boom Box system from the ground up and received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from the biker community!

Boom Box GPS Trip “Record” Function:

Many have asked about the trip “record” function, which is located if you go to the main menu->Navigation->Map. Once viewing the GPS map and you location toggle over to the lower right of your screen where you will see the main Map menu icon. Push in on that, scroll down, and you can check or uncheck the record option.

Harley Davidson Touring 2014 Front Brake Recall | Biker Motorcycle Podcast

Harley-Davidson has issued a massive recall for its ABS-equipped 2014 Touring models. The recall notice affects 66,421 units. At issue is placement of the bike’s front brake line, which may become pinched between the fuel tank and frame and potentially lock-up the front wheel. I just got the recall taken care of on my 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special and it took about 20 minutes at the dealer. The mechanics remove your gas tank, inspect the brake line for damage, and then put two zip ties (cable straps) to keep the line in place so it can't get pinched.

Law Abiding Biker Podcast California Map copy 2 PODCAST-Okay, we really tried to pack a ton of information into this episode. No, this episode is not really as long as it may look for the overall episode time (kind of). We just put some bonus content at the end of the regular episode that lasts about 45 minutes longer. BLOG-This is a reliable and unbiased update on the fatal shooting that occurred on June 26, 2014 around 8:00 PM outside Nippers Bar Grille in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has identified the deceased as 40-year-old Zachariah Tipton.

Additionally, I give you a full review of this Harley touring seat, so you can have the facts and be educated before you consider purchasing this item. I have taken all the guess work out of it for you.

I purchased the Harley Hammock Heated Touring Seat for my 2014 Street Glide Special (SGS). However, you can get the Harley Hammock seat for any Harley touring model. Oscar, the Secretary of the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club has a 2013 Harley Ultra Classic and had this seat before me. One day after a long ride and really thinking that I needed to change my stock Harley seat out I sat on his. It was love at first sit. We ride hard and far here at Law Abiding Biker Podcast & Media and within the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.

I must say that I was surprised that I needed a new touring seat for my Harley Street Glide Special. Prior to my 2014 Street Glide Special I had a 2011 Harley Street Glide. I rode that bike just as far and just as hard and was always fine with the stock seat. Well, either Harley Davidson cheated on the seat on my 2014 Street Glide Special or I am just getting much older. Maybe both, but all I can say is my ass was getting sore with that stock seat.

We have been so busy covering other topics on the podcast that the emails have been stacking. We cover an array of things that are a directly result of emails we have received. I start out with an announcement reference the fatal biker shooting that occurred on June 26, 2014 around 8:00 PM outside Nippers Bar Grille in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. We covered this in depth on Episode #48, so check it out.

After that episode aired I was contacted by a high ranking official of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club (IOMC) and that speaks volumes for the Iron Order Motorcycle Club. The official was appreciative of our fair and balanced coverage of the shooting incident. This high ranking official is very open to an interview right here on the Law Abiding Biker Podcast. However, he wishes to wait until the true facts of the fatal biker shooting are released to the public. The Iron Order MC does not wish to interfere with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department's or the State Attorney's Office ongoing investigation. As a President of a motorcycle club myself, I must say that I would likely make the same decision. It is stated by the IOMC official that they are in fact a “law abiding biker” motorcycle club. Over the years that has certainly been my perception of the IOMC based on my personal contact with members.

The Iron Order MC does have a very open website with pictures of members and exactly what they stand for. They are not secretive at all. Of course, that is completely unlike outlaw motorcycle gang websites that contain very little or no information. OMG's obviously have much to hide, so they can't be open like law abiding biker clubs on their websites.
